The private communication suite from the team behind this academy. Zippytal Meet runs end-to-end encrypted video calls with zero telemetry, and Zippytal Chat is messaging with no phone number and no data harvest, where voice and video live right in the same window. Both run on nodes you control, so your conversations stay yours.

The hard parts

  • Running encrypted peer-to-peer video and voice over WebRTC with no central server in the middle
  • Queuing encrypted messages on user-owned nodes so they still arrive when someone is offline
  • Giving people a real identity from just a handle and a password, with no phone number or email
